We had a tee time booked a couple days in advance to play the back nine in the morning on a weekday. Despite confirming it over the phone when booking and getting an email reservation as back 9 the day prior, we had a rude interaction. A gentleman who claimed to work there drove up to us as we were teeing off on 11 and tell us we shouldn’t be there. He said he was “making the turn” and no one should be playing the back. He offered no hospitality to the patrons using his course, ignored our offer to play through us, and said he was going to call the shop. The impatient and lack of politeness left us with a poor impression of this course. If we shouldn’t be on the back nine, do not book us as such. That being said it is still a Donald Ross, but 30 dollars to ride for nine holes is a bit steep for the condition of the course. Probably won’t be back all things considered.

In my opinion, by far the best value in the Metro Detroit region. The course is very well kept, and also fun to play. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly as well. There are always tee times available, and they’re quite cheap. There are some interesting remnants of the old course which just allows for more forgiving ground for beginners. My favorite course in the area!

Came to the course while visiting Michigan from Ontario, wasn’t sure what to expect but the friendliness of the employees was amazing. The course itself was not challenging for my partner who is experienced. For myself as a “beginner” I did find some holes challenging but would say it is beginner friendly. We will definitely be back to play again.

Old ron down Donald Ross course and I cannot believe they jacked up the rates to $44 for a senior to play on Friday. Friday is not the weekend. I guess our group will be playing in the future where it is more reasonable and in better condition. It is a sentimental choice for some of the seniors in our group however there are better deals at almost every other course around for seniors during the week. Whatever you do don't leave at 3:00 when the shared parking lot with the school lets out or you will be 20 minutes just to get out of the lot.

This golf course is a gem. Considering it was overgrown and abandoned two years ago, the new owners have done a fantastic job getting it to where it is now. The greens are challenging, but fair. The holes are long enough to be a thorough test for most golfers. Considering that it is still early in the season, the condition was very good. Overall, a round here is worth every penny.
